New Moon Ganapuja 179 Augusta Ave Toronto, 7-9 p.m. - Tuesday August 5th Buddha Day Ganapuja Trinity St. Paul small chapel 7-9 p.m. - Sunday August 10th. Guru Rinpoche World Wide Web Transmission (Place TBA, 9-12pm) - Sat Aug 16th. Full Moon ( TPS chapel time shift from 7:30- 9:30) - Tues Aug 26th. Dakini Day ( TPS Chapel 7-9 p.m.) - Sat Aug 30th. Full Moon ( TPS chapel 7-9 p.m.)
Sunday August 10th. is a particularly important day.
Three times a year Chogyal Namkhai Norbu gives a World Wide Web Transmission at the same time all over the world. The time of the transmission is to coincide with 8:00 a.m. in Oddiyana (Pakistan). The transmission will come from Merigar in Italy on August 11th. but for us in Eastern Standard time it is 11:00 p.m. on August 10th. at 11:00 p.m.
You may need to have an explanation of the practice if you are new to it. In that case please come at 9 p.m. and bring something comfortable to sit on. It is an open transmission so bring friends if you like.
We will provide food for the Ganapujas, so no need to bring food offerings, but you can make an offering of money to cover the food (usually about $5 - $10)
